How to use Discord’s new Ignore button

Keeping up the “haters” theme, if you’re a user of community-building app Discord, you may have been a victim of unwanted chats. Well, those days are over, as Discord has added an “Ignore” button.

Our own Ronil Thakkar went deep on the new button, but here’s the bullet points:

• Open the offending DM

• Tap the loser’s profile pic

• Open the dropdown menu (upper right)

• Hit “Ignore”

• Select “Yes” on the “Ignore [username]” confirmation

• Continue to be a hater, in peace

Being a hater is way easier when you can ignore people.
