Sup ya’ll - hoping everyone had a good weekend.

Sometimes, it's completely okay to admit that sometimes we're just lost when it comes to tech. Myself included.

Today, I'm about to share something that's been around for years but somehow has escaped my radar.

It's called "Mouse Keys" — an obscure yet liberating feature that allows users to control the mouse pointer through keyboard keys.

To most of you, this might sound like a feature that’s been hiding right under your fingertips, and that's because it has been.

Mac has a secret - It's Mouse Keys

So, what are Mouse Keys?

Forget about using tabs to navigate from one field to another and using the space bar to scroll down the page.

With Mouse Keys, you can ditch your mouse and control your pointer with a finesse you never knew existed.

You can activate the Mouse Keys feature on your Mac by following these steps:

  1. You can activate the Mouse Keys feature on your Mac by following these steps:

  2. Click on the Apple icon in the top-left corner of your screen.

  3. Select "System Preferences" from the dropdown menu.

  4. Click on "Accessibility."

  5. In the left-hand side panel, scroll down and select "Pointer Control."

  6. Click on the "Alternative Control Methods" tab.

  7. Check the box next to "Enable Mouse Keys."

  8. You can further customize the Mouse Keys feature by clicking on the "Options..." button

Remember, when Mouse Keys is active, you can use the numeric keypad on your keyboard to move your cursor. If your keyboard doesn't have a numeric keypad, you can press the "fn" (function) key and the keys with small numbers.
