Happy Martin Luther King! Yup, it’s giveaway time! But first, let me get something off my chest.

I know, I know. It feels like ages since I last checked in with you all. It’s not like I forgot to write these, but truthfully, this newsletter isn’t the easiest thing to write.

Every time I send one out, I usually check the stats to see how many times an email was opened, who unsubscribed, and, most importantly, how many jerks marked our newsletter as spam.

Just as a friendly reminder: if you’re getting this email, it’s because, at some point, you signed up to get these. We don’t put anyone’s email on the list unless they specifically told us to do it.

Spam scores have such a negative impact on our newsletter and, most importantly, our KnowTechie.com domain. If we get enough of these, mail providers will strip away our inbox privileges and send us straight to spam.

But other than that, I needed to take some time away. Mainly for a couple of reasons:

  • Between the newsletter, the website, and my other full-time job, I’m overworking myself to death.

  • Based on some feedback from newsletter readers, I could tighten up the newsletter’s format.

  • Finding someone other than me to write these. It’s not that I don’t want to do it; I want to make sure you are getting the best content possible.

  • Speaking of which, imposter syndrome.

Either way, thanks for letting me vent, and I promise to do a better job sending these out on time. And again, I’m sorry for not keeping up with these the past few weeks. To make up for it, we got a special giveaway lined up for you.

Here’s what we’ll be tackling today:
